Description
Summary:In the process industry there are many control strategies used for effective process control. Modern methods of process controls are in place. But there are still gray areas where further improvement is possible. One of them is in the minimum usage of measuring instruments. Many times the number of measurements required depends on many factors such as the complexity of control required and the type of application in place. Due to the advantage of modern microprocessor based programmable control techniques many a time, some of the input variables can be calculated from other available variables and sometimes the variable can be kept constant or simulated with the results from the other variables.
