description The need for environmental sustainability is becoming increasingly prevalent. Especially in Singapore’s recent context where new laws and regulations have been passed to limit and ban e-scooters in Singapore. One up and coming topic for environmental sustainability is having a circular economy which encourages reverse flow of recycled materials back to the start of the cycle indefinitely. A review of existing available literature indicates that circular economy has already undergone implementation for industries in other countries. In China’s electronic industry, third party logistics providers play a key role in reverse logistics. Whereas in Austria, T-Mobile adopts planned obsolesces in hopes of improving product recovery. This paper aims to review the case studies of circular economy in other countries and effectively adapt and apply suitable learning points to create a circular economy for e-scooters in Singapore. New strategies and their barriers to implementation were suggested to improve the circular economy for e-scooters in Singapore.
