description This project assigned to develop an application to provide a one-stop solution for an attendance taking system. This application is developed as a Graphical User Interface (GUI) to allow students to create their own personal account, with the ability to add in the modules and tutorial classes attended for the semester. The main objective of this project is to construct a QR code within the application which includes the user’s details as their identification. This include basic information such as their name and email which are a unique identification when students are first matriculated. Their QR Code is then scanned by the organizer and is recorded in their database system. This application is designed in a school-based scenario and mainly serves two types of users, the administrator user who will be the Professors and end-user who are the students. The expected number of students can range from 20 to about 100 in a classroom to a seminar setting.
