Description
Summary:This report presents the design, implementation, and control of a boost dc-dc converter with an extended topology. With an extended topology, the boost dc-dc converter is able to produce a higher voltage gain. The control of the converter is carried out using a current-mode controller. The goal of the controller is to regulate the output voltage in the presence of load and input voltage disturbances. Experimental results showing the controller’s performance are also presented.
