description Thousands of domestic pigeons (Columba liva) lives in proximity with humans in our city. This has posed serious health risks to humans and it often results in significant economic loss due to the damage it has caused to the monuments and the buildings. As a result, city authorities and owner of premises are often exploiting several measures to get rid of the domestic pigeons. With numerous avian repellants in the market, scientific proof of their respective efficiencies is lacking. The study aims to create a portable bird chaser device where users can bring around in convenience. Detailed study of the repellants and methods used will be presented in this report. The design of the portable bird chaser device will also be presented in a systematic approach as to how the final design was derived and eventually manufactured using 3D printing.
