Resumo:This report discusses the processes involved in creating pastiche of animated commercials and highlights the values of revisiting past animation, as well as its potential in inspiring future work. Through this emulation and adaptation, lessons can be learnt about animation through time and its impact on advertising. This report will highlight the unique qualities of animated commercials from 3 different eras – 1960s, 1990s as well as the 21st century and outline the methods involved in adapting a style and applying it to a novel context.
