Summary: | This report presents the Head-Up Display (HUD) for the car by using On-Board Diagnostic
(OBD) to display the vehicle parameter on a smartphone device. An application will
be created to cater to the displaying segment in this project. Android Studio will be used
to create the Android Application.
A simulator OBD II unit will be used to simulate the vehicle parameters by adjusting
the knobs on the hardware. The connection will be implemented using Bluetooth
communication from the OBD II unit to the smartphone.
Additional features like google map navigations, multiscreen are also achieved by
giving the user more function in using the app. This app allows all Android users to
connect their smartphones to their vehicles with ease which then they can use the app
for vehicle diagnostic with additional navigation features. |
