description | Radio Frequency CMOS switches played a major role in the evolution of the modern wireless telecommunication. Several studies in the RF switch has succeeded in designing a low cost and small size transmit/ receive switch. The never-ending challenge in the industry is to further shrink the design with the same or better performance.
The project aims to design a double pole double throw transmit/ receive switch in 65 nm CMOS technology. The designing phase of a Radio Frequency Switch will be explored in this project. Using Cadence® Virtuoso® equipped with the STM 65nm CMOS v5.3.4 Design Kit to design and simulate the performance of the DPDT T/R RF Switch.
A smaller design would signify that there is more room for other components to enhance or complement the overall system performance. |
