Description
Summary:This report will explain the elimination of using the expensive Head-Up Display (HUD) to an Android smartphone. To display the information such as speed, fuel level, engine rpm and the throttle position of a vehicle, an application is created. In display of the vehicle data, connection will be made through using the wireless Bluetooth communication between the ELM 327 mini Bluetooth installed on the On-Board Diagnostics (OBD) II simulator unit and the Android smartphone. Android Studio will be the main platform to create the software application. Additional features were added to this application which will enhance the user experience, such as reading the two essentials information (speed and fuel level) of the vehicle and navigation map all in one screen.
