Description
Summary:This report will first summarize the current state of the art with regards to Limb Assistive Technology (LAT). The report will then consider and outline the design of the mechanical and sensor systems of a shoulder assistive device. Subsequently, the conceptual design will be produced via Computer Aided Design (CAD) software - Solidworks. After deciding upon the suitable material and design, the prototype will be produced via 3D-printing and/or metal working. Ansys software will be engaged to conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for stress evaluation.
