description When it comes to healthcare, medical practices are often solely associated with medical professionals. However, there are some medical practices that can save lives that do not require one to be a medical professional. One such medical practice is the performing of Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), a live-saving procedure which is given to someone in cardiac arrest. There are CPR training courses available to anyone. However, studies show that laypersons who attend a CPR class are less likely to perform effectively due to a lack of motivation (Kovačič & Kosec, 2012). This project aims to tackle this problem by introducing an Augmented Reality (AR) game that seeks to encourage more ordinary folk to learn CPR procedures as well as improve the player’s knowledge and proficiency in CPR techniques.
