description The use of Virtual Reality has been significantly increasing over the years. There is a huge potential of using Virtual Reality technology in the education industry to reinvent the way of teaching. Thus, this project aims to facilitate the use of VR technology in education by developing a ‘VR Chemistry Lab’ application for students studying Chemistry. The prototype of the application should allow teachers to create their own experiments for the students and save them. The students using the application should then be able to load the previously saved experiments and conduct the experiments as how they usually do in physical laboratory sessions. The development of the application was done in Unity Engine and was designed to be run on an Oculus Quest 2 hardware.
