The analysis revealed that working mothers reframe their ideas of mothering, where mothering is redefined in ways that necessitate their working roles in order to carry out. On the
other hand, these working mothers still persist in conventional mothering techniques where these are arduously carried out though they conflict with the working roles these working mothers have as well. These findings suggest that although the strategies of negotiating working and mothering
roles are evident here, traditional mothering ideas are still central to these working mothers in determining their ways of motherhood. |
