description The transition period between high school and university life often poses challenges to many students. Poor transitions may lead to serious consequences for students, such as being dropped out of university. To alleviate this problem, Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) can help students cope with the challenging transition period. In the school of EEE, there have been some new CCA in recent years. These new CCA face a common problem, which is lacking a platform to disseminate CCA information. It eventually leads to some information not being accessible to EEE freshmen. This project aims to build a hybrid mobile application that provides an all-in-one platform for gathering CCA information. To achieve the objective, this project covers both front-end and back-end applications. The main features of the mobile application include retrieving events, announcements, and past CCA. Also, the application features event, announcement, and user management. Since this application is intended to be publicly used by EEE students, the application is hosted on a live server. For the ease of future development, this mobile application is built using two popular modern frameworks for mobile application development: React Native and Node.js.
