description he world is entering the era of technologies; handheld devices that do not require keys for operation, monitors that weigh more than half of what it was compared to in the past and vehicles are beginning to progress into further advancements, as they begin to operate without human intervention. It had only been a few years since these capabilities of modern vehicles could only be witnessed from movies. Today, these amazing functions are no longer just “science fiction” because they are possible. The 5G is the latest technology invented in 2019 to improve efficiency in terms of speed and rate of response in wireless connectivity. In this connected future, buildings are everywhere. This urban landscape has made satellite-based localization almost impossible, due to its reflective properties. Thus, result in unprecedented inaccuracies or corrupted signals. Currently, what has been mostly used for localization is the usage of WiFi. This method of localization makes use of interconnected WiFi from access points nearby to locate a subject. This has been proven unfortunate as well, for certain locations such as tunnels or areas with the absence of WiFi or buildings. Unfortunately, many environmental factors can influence the efficiency of WiFi, which makes it often unstable and unreliable. Therefore, this report will focus on strengthening the usage of 5G signals using angle-based fingerprints within a full grid to extract unique data coordinates for localization purposes. It will also further discuss its applications, as well as its developmental process, learning outcomes and key takeaways.
