description Leaning programming can be challenging and tedious for novices who are struggling to grasp the concepts since the start of the course. When unsure of how to solve the programming problems or what steps to take next, students may easily get discouraged and give up learning programming. One way to keep students motivated is the game-based learning approach. Game-based learning (GBL) is a strategy that uses active methods to keep students engaged and motivated in learning. It encourages students to learn in a game-like environment where learning activities and concepts are incorporated within games to enhance students’ learning outcomes. The objective of this project is to design and develop a web-based interactive coding game that helps to enhance students’ learning outcomes in programming. In this report, various game mechanics and designs are studied and explored. This report also talks about the process and interfaces of the game developed. The implementation as well as the evaluation of the game are discussed too.
