Engineering the collapse of lifetime distribution of nitrogen-vacancy centers in nanodiamonds
We demonstrate experimentally that the distribution of the decay rates of
nitrogen-vacancy centers in diamond becomes narrower by over five times for
nanodiamonds embedded in thin chalcogenide films.
