Although the ‘heroic journey’ is deemed an ancient idea,
the process of growth, change and self discovery still continues to present day.
It is still witnessed through memorable works of literature, heartfelt television programs and most importantly, in our everyday lives.
The constructs of the landscape and topography are not of a natural environment.
These abstractions however serve to draw the viewer into a timeless time,
free from the clutter and distraction of our overcrowded world.
The photographs depend heavily on the distinct ability of the camera,
to extract, lure and compel its viewers to be transported away.
To a sacred place, which reflects of one’s internal mental and emotional processes.
While the voyage the viewer embarks on is not literal,
they mirror an inner reality as we journey through life.
