description Dementia is a neurological disorder that weakens an individual’s cognitive ability, causes progressive memory loss, and alters their personality. Given Singapore’s rising life expectancy and low fertility rates, the population over the age of 65 is fast growing. According to studies, 1 in every 10 adults over the age of 60 suffers from dementia. As the number of dementia sufferers increases, the demand for healthcare services increases as well. As a result, the Person-Centred Care System (PEAR) was established to help healthcare providers provide dementia patients with person-centred care. The objectives of this project are to continue developing and maintaining the PEAR system while also continuing the migration to the new system. The author discusses the numerous enhancements made to the PEAR system and gives recommendations for further work. Numerous web pages for the doctor’s web application were constructed, and the patient’s social history information was changed to be more privacy-focused. Additionally, several application programming interfaces (APIs) were developed to support the front-end Android mobile and web applications. To better meet the requirements provided in the project’s software requirements specifications, the author advises that the system’s representation of guardians be adjusted. A more consistent approach to web application development should also be considered.
