description Thermoelectric generators have stimulated the curiosity of researchers because they need the potential to convert heat directly into electricity. Additionally, “the thermoelectric properties of classic inorganic and organic materials have improved significantly over decades. Layered two-dimensional (2D) materials like graphene, black phosphorus, transition metal dichalcogenides, IVA-VIA compounds, and MXene are receiving excellent attention as a gaggle of probably high-performance environmental generators. Thermoelectric devices made from such materials are often utilized in many applications thanks to their unique electrical, mechanical, thermal, and optoelectronic capabilities. This paper provides a comprehensive overview of the creation of 2D materials for thermoelectric applications, alongside basic testing, equipment validation and experimental preparation.
