description With the increased usage of technology in this day and age, people are becoming more connected to one another, yet becoming less connected to their surroundings. We are losing touch with the experience of being in the now and letting ourselves take in the sights and sounds of our environment. Wandering Minds is an interactive space designed to reconnect people to their surroundings through the use of phones, which is often the source of distraction that makes us disconnected from our environment. On the contrary, in this artwork, the phones are the points of interaction, facilitating connectedness between the user and the environment.
