Summary: | The project is motivated by the recent trend that works are no longer bound to traditional notions of time and space when it comes to how, when and where we work. This is especially true during the pandemic era that we are currently in. In a recent survey, “34% of Singaporeans avoided going to work during the COVID-19 outbreak from February 2020 to October 2021”. Such a high percentage shows that many Singaporeans prefer to work from home even though some households or the environment of the neighbourhood where they live is not the most conducive place to be productive. Hence, I decided to come up with a product to reduce the surrounding noise so that those who prefer to work from home can concentrate better with lesser distraction. (Hirschmann, R. 2021). |
