No significant age and tuition main effect as well as interaction effect was found. On the Flexible Item Selection Task (FIST-4-item), preschoolers were shown a set of four pictures and required to select two cards that matched each other on one dimension (selection 1) and then select a different pair of cards that matched each other on another dimension (selection 2). There was significant main effect for age and for tuition as well as a significant age and tuition interaction.
