description | For rapid Rotman lens design, a series of Matlab code was developed to complete the whole design process of Rotman lens, this code allows users to input some required parameters, then it can automatically get all the coordinate of the Rotman lens geometry and finish the manipulation and simulation process by controlling CST through matlab code. Since the Rotman lens is flexible in design and variable in shape once the independent parameters are changed, Rotman lens designers can use this Matlab code to modify the design several times and to get the best results, this code makes the work much more efficient. This dissertation proposes two designs 5×4 and 7×6 Rotman lens, which operating center frequency at 2.45 GHz, with maximum scan angle is ±40°. Two Rotman lens designs have acceptable simulation results, by comparison the 7×6 Rotman lens is preferred. |
