description Cancer has long been a leading cause of death. With numerous efforts in understanding its cause and treatments, a human signalling network has emerged. However, it is challenging to visualize this complex network and the rich attributes of genes. To address this problem, this project proposes CancerVis, an interactive user interface for cancer signalling network visualization. It allows user to dynamically manipulate the network according their attributes and related pathways. Moreover, cognitive loadaware layout is added to the application to make the network more readable.
