description As technology develop we are seeing increasing use of radars in aircraft. One particular radar, the synthetic aperture radar has seen a significant increase in uses specifically in the military and research area. This project seeks to investigate and experiment with radar designs in particular that of the Synthetic Aperture Radar specifically on board an unmanned aerial vehicle. It will be implemented using simulations through the use of Matlab to study the radar specifications and the image processing algorithm that is used. In particular, the Range Migration Algorithm and Back Projection Algorithm will be experimented with.
