description This project is about implementing scientific computation in smart phones, with a focus on the design of the app’s page layout and user interface. The objective of this project is to design and develop a user-friendly interface for a calculator with advanced mathematical functions. It aims to be easy to use, efficient, and aesthetically pleasing. The design process involves a thorough analysis of user requirements, followed by multiple iterations to refine the interface. The implementation was carried out using the Flutter framework and Android Studio as the development tool. Flutter provides a set of pre-built widgets and tools for developing mobile applications, while Android Studio provides support for mobile emulators and quick changes during testing of the mobile application. The design of the user interface incorporated a clear and intuitive layout with easy-to-read text and consistent design themes that enhanced usability and aesthetic appeal. Key features of the calculator include graphing equations, retrieving constant values, solving simultaneous equations, converting units, and displaying previous calculations. The implementation was successful and the final user interface for the calculator managed to fulfil its objective. The use of Flutter framework and Android Studios IDE enabled efficient and effective development. Hence, the interface meets the necessary requirements of being a simple and powerful all-rounder calculator.
