Summary:Health problems have significantly increased in recent years among those aged 40 and above. Particularly in Singapore where the population is aging quickly, and chronic illness rates are growing. Moreover, there has been a rise in the number of health-related mobile applications available for different purposes such as efficient and easier health data collection of blood pressure and heartbeat measurement, sleep tracker, steps, or workout tracker, etc. However, these applications do not provide individuals with access to both preventive care features and precautionary care to allow one to take charge of their own health. This project will focus on developing a mobile health application to empower one to understand his or her medical situation better by utilizing the application’s preventive and precautionary care features based on the user’s inputs. Hence, this project aims to develop a one-stop mobile health solution, On-Care that allows users aged 30 years and above to take more responsibility and ownership of their health by utilising the preventive and precautionary measures via this application’s key features. This project was developed with Java programming language and utilises technologies and development tools like Firebase, Android Studio and Dialogflow. This project was completed as a team of three and a prototype of the application was developed. The mobile application consists of features such as Journal, Food, Medical Record, Appointment, News, Health, Chatbot, Profile, Dashboard, Notification System, and certain functionalities such as the login and registration of accounts. This report will describe the process of my individual contribution of developing the mobile health application and the implementation of distinctive features such as Food Recommendations, Appointments, Health, Profile, and the Notification System. It also describes the implementations of different pages such as the Splash Page, Registration, Login, and the Main Page which displays the features available in the application.
