The demand for this technology is emerging expeditiously and becoming one of the most popular technologies in recent years because of the many applications it offers. However, the materials used to manufacture wearable technology are hard, rigid, and do not typically conform well to soft tissue without failing. Therefore, flexible electronics need to be developed to expand the range of applications like soft robotics and biomedical sciences. The main challenge in this breakthrough technology is to achieve flexibility while maintaining electrical conductivity. This research aims to fabricate a flexible electronic touchpad that can be embedded in clothing. The successful prototype will provide proof of the fabrication method to produce an effective, affordable, and functional flexible electronic.
