description Purpose of project: To explore the adaptations of Sak Yant tattoos into contemporary tattoo styles Design/ Methodology/ Approach: Through research – discovering the subjects of focus and the styles that exist within the art of tattooing. Used procreate for all 77 illustrations. Learnt about the techniques and characteristics of the different tattoo styles as I executed them. Findings: That although adaptable in a different look, the meanings and significance are not translatable. Originality/ Value: It is a curated piece of work that was not only the result of my research and exploration but also a piece that shares this information in a summarised manner to the reader. Specialisation: Media Art (Game) Keywords: Illustration, Visual Documentation, Book Design
