| Summary: | The collection of the Marine Fisheries Research Department (MFRD) Library in Singapore was focused on aquaculture and the post-harvest technology aspect of fisheries. However, it was observed that information found in articles available in books, journals, conference proceedings and newsletters in the library were largely inaccessible. In this regard, several tools to facilitate information searching and retrieval in the most convenient and effective manner were looked into. |
