description The objective of this project is to prepare a polymer/ carbon nanotubes composite with the best properties such as electrical conductivity, tensile strength etc, to be used for the manufacturing of bi-polar plates of a Polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cell (PEMFC). The first part of the report starts off with an introduction to carbon nanotubes and various functionalization techniques and also talks about the various tests that have to be conducted on the samples. The following part of the report provides the specifications of the samples used and the experimental procedures. The report then covers the results obtained through the many experiments and a discussion of the results. The report then ends off with a conclusion and suggestions on things that can be carried out for future projects.
