This study attempts to find the associations between high temperatures and health in India. The impact of rise in temperature has been studied on infectious and non-infectious diseases such as Dengue, Malaria, Typhoid, Diarrhoea, Diabetes, and Hypertension. Other health indictors such as Still Births, Hypertension in pregnant women, Obstetric Complications and Infant Deaths within 4 weeks were also analysed. These groups of diseases and health indicators revealed positive and significant associations between rise in temperature and number of cases detected. Keywords: Temperature, Health, India
