Description
Summary:In this work, dense Yttria stabilized zirconia (YSZ) ceramic was printed by vat photopolymerization. We first formulated a slurry with good ceramic particle dispersion and modified the sintering process of the printed part. We improved the dispersion of the yttria stabilized zirconia (YSZ) particles by mixing with dispersant before preparing the slurry. After printing with the slurry, the printed part was sintered under a pressure of 20 KPa. No pores could be observed in the cross-section view indicating we successfully fabricated ultra-dense YSZ ceramic by vat polymerization and high-pressure sintering process.
