description The field of subjective well-being economics has gained prominence as researchers delve into the intricate relationship between subjective well-being and various socio-economic factors. Against the backdrop of the growing gig economy, which entices with enhanced autonomy and flexibility, our research endeavours to explore the multifaceted factors influencing the subjective well-being of food delivery riders in Singapore. COVID-19 pandemic has dramatically reshaped our lives, and one notable consequence has been the surge in demand for food delivery services. As more people rely on these services for their daily sustenance, understanding the nuances of employment arrangements within this sector becomes imperative. By analysing empirical data and employing robust statistical methods, our paper aims to uncover the various factors and their impact on the subjective well-being and fulfilment experienced by food delivery riders, shedding light on the complex interplay between work arrangements and individual perceptions in this rapidly evolving occupational landscape.
