description High torque light-weight Permanent Magnet Motor has been increasing in demand in recent years. Therefore, Permanent magnet motor with air-core structure provides a solution for this. In this report, the working principles and the mathematical model of motors will be explained. The design of the Permanent Magnet Motor with air-core structure will also be shown using JMAG Designer Software. Analysis with various parameters and constraints will be performed and the results will be shared using the JMAG Designer Software. Subsequently, the investigations and findings will be presented in this report. Possible solutions and adjustments will be shared to improve the performance of the Permanent Magnet Motor with air-core structure, together with a few potential ideas for future work regarding the project.
