description This project aims to design and develop an engaging 2.5D game to submit to the Game Development World Championship (GDWC) and Independent Games Festival (IGF). This project is in collaboration with my teammates Chua Yan Peng and Ng Yan Qing. We center on delivering an immersive gaming experience for our players focusing on the dynamics and details, bridging the gap between 2D and 3D. This report presents the development process and outcomes of Aloha Borealis, a 2.5D two player adventure game produced by Aloha using Unity game engine. This document largely focuses on the character controls and animation, scene setups, scriptwriting and 2 of the mini games featured in Aloha Borealis.
