description The Final Year Project (FYP) represents a pivotal milestone for computer science students enrolled in the School of Computer Science and Engineering (SCSE). However, the manual allocation of students to FYPs and examiners has long been recognized as a laborious and time-intensive process. In response to this challenge, the FYP Examiner Allocation System (FEAS) and Student Selection System (SSS) were conceived and subsequently refined across multiple semesters. This report charts the ongoing evolution of both FEAS and SSS, alongside the introduction of two novel applications: the FYP Application (FYP-APP) and the Master of Cyber Security Internship Application (MSCS IA), more commonly referred to as the Master’s Professional Internship Application (MPI-APP). Central to this narrative is the comprehensive discussion of the enhancements implemented within FEAS and SSS, the development journey of the new applications, and the effort made by a 7-person team during the latter stages of the project. Furthermore, the report delves into proposed avenues for future improvement, informed by valuable insights gleaned from the project's progression. Ultimately, this document encapsulates the successful execution of an FYP project aimed at both sustaining and expanding critical applications, thereby enhancing efficiency and stakeholder experience within the FYP framework.
