This study introduces an innovative intelligent orientation aid designed to significantly improve the mobility and spatial awareness of visually impaired individuals. Leveraging the latest advancements in technology, our development focuses on an application that utilises the iBeacon technology. This research explores the design, implementation, and usability of the aid, highlighting its potential to transform everyday navigation challenges into manageable tasks for those with visual impairments. Our findings indicate that the intelligent orientation aid not only enhances the user's ability to navigate various environments safely and independently but also contributes positively to their overall quality of life. This work can lay a foundation for future explorations into accessible and disability-friendly technology. ​​
