UV crosslinking through polarizers for anisotropic properties

This study examines the properties of the ultraviolet (UV) resin when it is crosslinked via controlled UV light. UV resin samples are prepared through the use of the filters such as Polarizer and UV Polarizer to allow certain amount of UV lights shine onto the samples to allow them to UV crosslinked...

description This study examines the properties of the ultraviolet (UV) resin when it is crosslinked via controlled UV light. UV resin samples are prepared through the use of the filters such as Polarizer and UV Polarizer to allow certain amount of UV lights shine onto the samples to allow them to UV crosslinked. Mechanical testing machine such as Dynamic Mechanical Analysis (DMA) and Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) are used to perform the experiments and to gather the results for each sample group. Once the results are taken, analysis on the data collected to understand the implications of using the polarizer and how to use it to achieve isotropic mechanical properties of the polymer.
