It was possible to organize this conference thanks to the cooperative effort of the Institut National des Langues et Civilisation Orientales (INALCO), the Université d’Aix-Marseille (AMU), the Maison Asie Pacifique (MAP), the Institut de Recherche pour le Developpement (IRD), the National Scientific Research Centre (CNRS – INSHS) and the following Research Centres: Structure et Dynamique des Langues (SeDyl –CNRS/IRD/INALCO), Langues et Civilisation à Tradition Orale (CNRS-LACITO), Centre Asie du Sud-Est (CASE-CNRS/EHESS), and the Institut de Recherches Asiatiques (CNRS AIrAsia).
