| Summary: | The Handbook of Proto-Tibeto-Burman: System and Philosophy of Sino-Tibetan Reconstruction (HPTB) was only published in August 2003, and already there are lots of things I wish had been included and several mistakes that have been found. This is not the place for a pre¬sentation of the many new etymologies that did not make it into HPTB. This will be done systematically over the next three years on the STEDT website, in batches organized by semantic category. Ulti¬mately a unique numeral will be assigned to every "officially" recog¬nized etymon, whether included in HPTB or not. |
