Summary: | The Rgjal Rong area lies in the northwest of Sichuan Province, at north latitude 33 and east longitude 101. The Rgjal Rong people appear in historical records in Chinese and Tibetan; in the Sui and Tang dynasties they were called Jia Liang in Chinese, and were formerly referred to as Rgjal Mo Tsha Wa Rong in Tibetan. |
