description This dissertation introduces a Flutter-developed innovative mobile application for Electromagnetic (EM) analysis. Clearly, the application targets not only electrical engineers and technicians-mostly specialized for the telecommunications field, but also provides a friendly interface for the non-specialized user to insert the parameters of an electric field and extract the correspondent magnetic field. Furthermore, this application provides the important key EM parameters such as impedance, penetration depth, velocity, and the attenuation constant given the input parameters of angular frequency, magnetic permeability, conductivity, and permittivity. The application also simulates the propagation of electric fields through different media and calculates the corresponding reflection and refraction angles. The motivation of this application lies in the need to surpass the challenge of classical-existence methods that demand enormous computational resources and specific software and bring onto the scene an accessible and accurate technique and tool for EM analysis. With the cross-platform abilities of Flutter, the application gives the access to state-of-the-art tools for EM analysis, allowing in-depth analysis without the need for extensive theoretical knowledge. The present dissertation provides theoretical rudiments on the specification of the EM analysis, how to develop an application on the Flutter platform, how to design and implement the application, and detailed step-by-step guide for all critical calculations to make sure that the user will get the best experience in combination to model the behavior of electromagnetic waves. The user gets a friendly intuitive interface, full-featured, cross-platform-compatible functionality. Future possible research of this application includes more real-time capabilities, integration with advanced simulation tools, and further optimization for performance. This application represents an important step closer to complex EM calculation accessibility and usability for a larger user group, fostering better understanding and deeper innovation in the field of electromagnetism.
