Summary:As Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) continues to gain prominence in Singapore, understanding the attitudes and perceptions of patients becomes crucial in the advancement of TCM. This survey-based research investigates various factors influencing the acceptance of TCM among Singaporean TCM patients, including treatment efficacy, assesses overall satisfaction, understanding level of TCM in patients, and views of patients on TCM. There is a positive trend showing that the majority of Singaporean patients are satisfied with TCM services and hope that there could be more future advancement of TCM to come. Most patients believe that there is a need for increased awareness and education about TCM, along with more information about TCM available in English for the public. These insights gathered allows better understanding of the needs of Singaporean patients and allows better integration of TCM within the modern healthcare framework as well as guidance for future TCM advancement.
