description The object of this dissertation is to use the Finite element method (FEM) to examine the impact of irregular interface factors, including the shape of the irregularity, the amplitude and the wavelength of the irregularity, and the wave velocity ratio between the covered layer and substrate, on the propagation of the Love waves. This research uses COMSOL to analyze the properties of Love wave under the influence of irregularity factors variation, in the time domain, frequency domain, and dispersion. Through FEM analysis, it is observed that the cube interface has the greatest influence on the propagation of love wave, while both the irregularity amplitude and wavelength have some effects on the propagation velocity and intensity of Love wave, and the wave velocity ratio has the greatest influence on its propagation property. This research studies the propagation properties of the Love wave, which play an important role in the application of the Love wave and restraining its negative effects.
