Key features of the system include a tablet application that enables student to clock-in their attendance effortlessly, and administrative web application that supports backend operations for data storage and management. Additional functionalities for the web application include dashboard for attendance tracking, sending automated notifications to students for absence during lab and review the student’s statement of absence for class.
By implementing this solution, the project significantly reduces the administrative labour associated with manual attendance tracking, minimizes record-keeping errors, and provides immediate access to attendance data for faculty. Ultimately, this digitalized approach improves the efficiency and accuracy of attendance management at NTU in a more productive academic environment. |
