Summary:This report presents the development of a "Building a Surface Vehicle using Recyclable Materials," specifically to build a remote-controlled boat using recyclable materials and environmentally friendly methods such as 3D printing. The system integrates ESP32-CAM and an L298N motor driver for wireless connection of the remote-controlled boat motor control. This project aims to promote science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education by providing meaningful educational material for educational robotics, or Edubotics. The ESP32-CAM microcontroller emits a Wi-Fi signal that can be connected to smart devices such as a smartphone which is then used as a remote control for the boat. The ESP32-CAM receives instructions from the smartphone and sends signals to the L298N motor driver to move the boat or change the direction of the boat. The camera on the ESP32-CAM also captures video in real-time which is then displayed on the smartphone, allowing for surveillance while controlling the boat. There is also a buzzer that produces sounds when activated. The report discusses the system's architecture, hardware setup, and software implementation.
