the mobile platform. Designed for use on PDA-based platforms, the application is
written in Microsoft Visual Studio C# developer environment; the study and evaluation of C# and its competing technologies is also reflected.
The framework of the system is built on a database-powered client-server architecture where front-end user interaction is
separated from back-end data management and retrieval. The client comprises of a user
interface and controllers, leaving main functions to be handled by the server.
The scope of the system covers two use cases by users of the application: Customized search as well as submission of user reviews. Comprehensive system testing was carried out through a suite of test cases to ascertain the structural integrity of the application. |
