Interface between CAD and 3D layer manufacturing systems
The basis of a 3D Layer Manufacturing process is to produce parts layer-by-layer. الملخص: | The basis of a 3D Layer Manufacturing process is to produce parts layer-by-layer. Whether the process of manufacturing a part is by a liquid solidification, a particle bonding or a sheet lamination process, the CAD models have to be first sliced by the computer into layers before the parts are built up physically on the machines layer-by-layer. In order to facilitate the translation of varied geometric descriptions from various CAD systems to 3D Layer Manufacturing systems, a standard interface is necessary. |
